History

Two archaeological concessions have been granted in the wadi Abu Subeira valley by Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA). The one at the entrance to the wadi, known as the “West Concession”, has been entrusted to an Egyptian team led by Adel Kelany (CSA). It adjoins a second concession of 34km2, known as the “East Concession”, managed by Gwenola Graff (IRD).
